My interest in mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) stems from my belief that challenging thoughts and feelings are an inevitable part of life, and we must learn to live with them rather than try to avoid or “fix” them. I do not believe that our lives are problems to be fixed, but rather the journey is simply finding the answers already within us and a new lens through which to view our lives.
I believe that anxiety and depression are reasonable reactions to the world in which we live, and I hope to walk alongside clients as they learn new coping skills and how to best prioritize their values.
After working for nearly ten years in the corporate world, my path led me to a career in counseling. I feel honored to accompany clients on their own journeys.

Outside of Therapy
I’m an Atlanta native and live in town with my husband, two children, two cats and one dog. In my free time I enjoy reading, doing yoga, drinking tea, and treating myself to a delicious pastry or two.
