I earned my bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. My master's degree is in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. 

I have provided counseling for adults and adolescents in a variety of settings, including Relate Counseling; Connections Counseling and Development Center; Turning Point-A New Direction for Families; and the Fort McPherson Behavioral Science Service, all of which are Atlanta based. I have worked with clients who have a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual concerns, separation and divorce recovery, affair recovery, parenting difficulties, life transitions, pre-marriage, addiction, and bereavement. I have also co-led a variety of counseling groups for help with substance abuse, anger management, parenting skills and support, and adult child of alcoholism issues. I currently serve as a co-leader for marriage enrichment groups at Buckhead Church. 

My work has been featured on CBS Atlanta and in Divine Caroline and New You magazines. Additionally, through my association with Georgia State University, I participated in the AGLBIQ 2nd Annual Day of Learning, in which I presented work related to the stressors of LGBT parents. 

A Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (#005788), a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (#214603), and a Certified Mediator. 

Additional training in Sex Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator, as an NLP Practitioner, and as a STEP training leader. 

A member of the American Counseling Association (member #6219410), Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Counselors.
