Areas of Expertise & Therapeutic Approach
I believe that through listening and the therapeutic relationship, I can work with clients individually, as families, or as couples to highlight their strengths, resilience, and propensity for positive change in times of stress, challenge, and pain. Being able to be guided by the client’s personal needs and inclinations, I seek to engage clients in a process of healing and metamorphosis, whether small or large.
I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Gottman Method, Mindfulness Therapy, the expressive arts, and Narrative Therapy. I use all my training and life experience in therapy to meet my clients where they are. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, families, and couples.
